Spring is a great time to focus on well being and self-care. What have you done for yourself over the winter? (Besides loving every minute of those comfort foods!) Well being means supporting yourself physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. It's time to release old energy and make space for new ideas. Spring is about rebirth. Are you ready to give a little time to yourself to create new awareness and
balance in your life?

Your day is busy. You have a family to take care of, your job seems to need you 24/7, you have a house that needs your attention, not to mention after-school activities and errands. It doesn't seem like there is time for anything extra! Let's work on creating a few well deserved minutes for you!

It doesn't take much to get going...small steps! First ask yourself, "what is the minimum time I can take for me?" Even 15 minutes is a start! Next ask yourself, "how do I want to feel?" and "what do I want to get from this time?". Also, don't forget to give yourself permission, you are worth it!

If you're having trouble getting started, here are a few suggestions.
· Take a walk or a run.
· Use a soothing face-mask and listen to calming music.
· Read a little of your favorite book.
· Meditate.
· Sit on your deck and "watch nature".
· Draw, paint, or create in some way.

Creating a little time for yourself will help balance your energy and lift your spirits. You will feel calm
and ready to take on whatever lies ahead of you.
