An Unfinished Life
You catch a thought, an inspiration that pops into your mind. You begin to toss it around a bit, giving it some consideration. You begin to wrap your mind around the possibilities. You sit with it for a few days. Your emotions become engaged in this fabulous idea. You drop it all into you heart, you feel an impulse of energy, a spark that ignites a passion in you. Your heart envisions the idea as a real possibility for your life. You become aligned with the idea heart, mind and emotions. You may even say, “Wow, I can do that!” or “I believe this is possible!” or “What a absolutely fabulous idea!”
Your silent words, your thoughts, your emotions, your passion become a prayer. The Universe hears you! It begins to get all the players in place. There is a shift in the energy of the Universe. Heaven and earth are moved for you. People are directed towards you. The red carpet is rolled out. The door of opportunity is put in your line of sight. The runway is lined with everything you need, all the information, the people, the places, and the resources. Everything you need is ready, in place and waiting for you! The Universe prepares to welcome a new magnificence into the world!
You stand on the red carpet feeling exhilarated by the thoughts and feelings chilling through your body. The hairs on your arms stand on end with the energy of excitement. You KNOW in your heart this is it! This is the dream you’ve waited for, and you are ready! The Universe celebrates your arrival. Fireworks explode above you. You begin to walk down the red carpet towards the door of a new self. You are amazed at the people who show up out of nowhere to guide you. The crowds lined up along the runway pat you on the back as you walk past them. Everyone is cheering and congratulating you. You are blown away by the inspiration whispered in your ear. All the puzzle pieces you need easily fall into place and you watch with utter amazement! Finally! You arrive at the door.
You know that on the other side of that door is the manifestation of your dream. It is the dynamic idea come to fruition. It is the passion of your heart, it is the ideal job of a lifetime, the partner of your dreams, and it is abundance beyond measure. It is a calling you have heard in you most silent moments. It is your magnificent Self! With your hand on the doorknob, slowly you begin to turn the handle feeling it move as your heart skips a beat. You are ready! YES! …. Then you freeze!
The cloud of doubt forms around you. “I don’t know” arrives. It covers the vision of your heart! Your deepest fears of unworthiness flood you. “What if I’m making this all up?” “What if I open this door and nothing’s there?” Your hear the word “NO” screamed on the loud speaker, “NO, don’t touch!“ “NO, that’s not for you!” “NO, don’t bother me!” “NO, you’re not good enough!” “NO, you can’t have that!” “NO, not this time,” “NO, not now!” “You though this was for you? you’ve got to be kidding!” The fear of abandonment turns your energy to mush. Your knees lock, your legs begin to shake. You are paralyzed! A hush falls over the crowds. You stand with you hand on the door of your Magnificent Self…paralyzed.
