Oh, the eternal fountain of youth, everyone’s quest…

Can it be obtained? Unfortunately, not. However, anti aging research studies are showing a remarkable correlation between exercise and the aging process. These studies clearly demonstrate that adults who participate in regular physical activity are biologically younger than sedentary individuals, and that they have a more positive outlook on the aging process.

Why? Consider some of the benefits of exercise…

• reduced stress
• greater flexibility
• increased circulation
• lower blood pressure and cholesterol
• weight lose
• pain relief
• improved balance

Now consider this. ..

Most adults, at some point in their lives, will begin to experience disease and disability that is brought on by stress, immobility, poor circulation, high blood pressure or cholesterol, obesity, discomfort due to pain, or a debilitating fall caused by imbalance. Most of which can be prevented or delayed through anti aging exercise.

When do you get started with your anti aging exercise program? Now!

Research indicates that our bodies actually begin a slow aging process around the age of 25. Yikes! What that says is that everyone, regardless of their age, should be engaging in some type of exercise routine. Ideally, a routine that focuses on cardiovascular, strength, and stretching exercises and includes at least 30 minutes of aerobic type exercise 5 days a week.

Can’t find time for that much exercise? Do what you can. Studies have shown that even a small amount of exercise can have some of the benefits of a full routine. Even if you are in your 40’s, 50’s or 60’s and have never exercised, it’s not too late. Some exercise is always better than none!

As you dip into your anti aging bag of tricks, with all of its creams and lotions, keep in mind, they can only, at best, change or mask what is on the outside. However, anti aging exercise goes behind the scenes making life altering changes from the inside out
