Author's Bio
Anyone who knows Dayna Fitzgerald knows that she is passionate about one thing…the WORD of God! She received her first Bible in 1987, after being led to Christ by a pastor in Philadelphia, PA. Dayna felt like a new person after accepting Lord into her heart, but the icing on the cake was to have her very own Bible. She felt as though she had been given a hidden treasure.
Immediately, Dayna began to read the Bible and fell in love with the Word of God. Although she didn’t have a church home and didn’t know much about being a Christian, she knew that she was saved and she was determined to understand exactly what God was saying to her in his WORD.
Shortly after receiving her Bible, Dayna went to a Christian bookstore and brought another version of the Bible, a Bible dictionary, a Vine’s New Testament Expository, and the Treasury of Scripture Knowledge. She had questions and she believed God had the answers. So Dayna began to read and research the Word of God. If she was going through a tough time, she researched everything in the Bible pertaining to the issue. If she needed direction, she went to the WORD for guidance. The Word of God became the foundation of her faith.
Easter of 1999, after 12 years of consuming the WORD on her own, Dayna joined Mt. Carmel Church of God in Christ, in West Chester, PA is still an active member. Dayna has served on the Choir, worked with the youth ministry, headed the churh newsletter and prayer chain.
In 2007, Dayna was inspired to record meditation CDs by friends in Harrisburg, PA. She thought it was such a good idea that she immediately began to research and comprise scriptures, not just for one CD but for two.
Her first meditation CD, A Song for Healing, Your Personal Meditation, was such a blessing to those who heard it, that people began requesting copies for their friends and family members. They were also asking her to record more meditation CDs on various topics.
Currently, Dayna is a Hospital Chaplain at Atlanta Medical Center, in Atlanta, Georgia. She is also completing her last semester in a Minister of Evangelism Program, at Full Gospel Bible Institute, of Parkesburg, PA. She continues to loves the Word of God and can still be found studying and researching the Bible.
