Being creative is not just about the act of being creative with activities such as painting or writing. The value of being creative is what happens inside you. When you are being creative, the energy comes from the very core of your being. Some might call this your spirit or gifts of a divine nature. This is the part of you that is who you are, the uniqueness of you as a human being. Life is so much duller when you are not in touch with this part of yourself. Life loses its zest and you become directionless and maybe not interested in much of anything.

When you live authentically, life takes on much brighter colors and everything is clearer. Your energy, relationships, even that dull job can seem brilliant. Thinking about bringing out the authenticity in your life can seem a little intimidating. It will only be that until you see how easy it is to bring this about when you decide to open up to your creative side.
