Internet traffic school is a relatively new development, thanks to the spread of available services over the World Wide Web. Many traffic school online courses are primarily text-based, with lots of reading. Some providers offer extras such as photos, 3-D animations, videos and slide shows to supplement the material. You might also be able to take a course that includes interactive quizzes at the end of each unit, to allow you to test yourself as you go and make sure that by the time the final exam comes around, you’re ready for it.

A great thing about online school is that you receive your certificate of completion right in your mailbox. This type of class is designed to be as non-invasive to your everyday routine as possible, and offers great flexibility and convenience in the many ways you can get from the introduction to the final exam.

Please note: in some regions, each piece of the course is timed, and has a minimum duration that must be spent on that subject of study. This is related to state laws and regulations, not to the individual provider. So depending on where you live, you can work at your own pace, but might need to breathe a bit more slowly as you go. This is the regulating body’s way of reassuring the courts that you have taken “X number of hours” of traffic school, which is how it works when you are in a traditional classroom. Never fear – it goes by very quickly regardless.
