If you are contemplating starting an online, home based travel business, there are a handful of good options that you may have found and researched. After looking into various opportunities, such as Coastal, Traverus and YTB, my personal choice was Global Resorts Network.

Did you know that the worldwide travel industry is estimated to be a Seven Trillion dollar marketplace? And in spite of tight budgets, people everywhere refuse to give up their vacation, even if it means financing it with a credit card or loan. The Global Resorts membership gives you access to over 5,000 luxury resorts, all over the world for a one-time enrollment fee. There are no recurring annual maintenance fees, and no blackouts or limitations on when and where you can travel. Simply choose your destination, book and confirm your reservation and pay the deeply discounted rate, which is currently $299-$799 per week.

Comparing the resort costs on sites such as Orbitz and Travelocity, you will discover that GRN's membership will save you anywhere from 40%-75% on the exact same locations and dates. And this is not do-it-yourself travel. Global Resorts has a professional customer service center to assist in planning and booking your trip. This is not a bargain basement type of travel membership.

Global Resorts is not a timeshare membership. If you have ever been the owner of a time share, you know that there are usually limits of one or two weeks per year that you may travel. Also, most time share owners are hit with annual maintenance fees, which can be several hundred dollars extra per year.

Global Resorts offers two levels of membership. The Gold Membership Level is currently $1495 for three years access. The Platinum Membership, currently $2995, offers lifetime access. Since the average American family spends several thousand dollars for a single week of vacation, it's easy to see how the GRN membership is an excellent investment.

The GRN business opportunity is optional for anyone who purchases a Gold or Platinum membership. If you have ever attempted to create an extra income stream with network marketing, this is a very different type of compensation plan.

Each time that you refer a member to the Platinum program, you are eligible to earn a $1,000 commission. A Gold membership is a $500 commission. You can also earn matching bonuses on those that your team members bring in, with no limit on width or depth in your organization. You do pass up your first sale to the enrolling sponsor. However, you do not pass up the person, just the commission.

When your new person makes their first sale, that commission will roll up to you. And because of this feature of the compensation plan, each sponsor is very motivated to assist new people with their marketing efforts.

Finally, you can choose to market the GRN opportunity online by plugging into one of several approved online systems, such as GRN Bizbuilder, Global Pro Builder, Truth To Wealth and the Reverse Funnel System, just to name a few. Some systems include call centers and virtual assistants, for an additional fee.
