-I will believe in my value and worth as a person.
- I will take time weekly to learn about the dynamics of abuse.
- I will tell at least one trusted person about my situation and ask for support.
- I will become familiar with my local law agencies, and their procedures to help victims.
- I will write a safety plan and make sure it’s in place.
- I will pick one person I consider a hero, and learn as much as I can from him or her and adapt the qualities that I admire into my own life.
- I will do something nurturing for myself daily.
- I will build a community of support around people who can protect me so I can always stand tall and safe. (To learn more visit www.redemptivecommunity.com)
