With the increasing prices of products, consumers nowadays should be wise and inquisitive when it comes to selecting what goods they are going to buy. You should not believe everything that you see or hear from a commercial or advertisement. There are numerous manufacturers, especially makers of beauty products, which promise things that their products cannot really provide or deliver.

Even if your favorite movie star is the endorser of some brand, you first need to look at the ingredients of the things you intend to use on your face and body. You should also be wary of companies that promise the moon and the stars just to compel you to buy what they are offering. According to experts, below are some of the exaggerated claims that are impossible or unacceptable.

Prevent Or Stop Hair Growth

There are numerous depilatories sold in the market that are advertised as the only product to stop, avert or prevent hair growth. Many claim that they have found the secret formula on how to ensure that you will no longer have hair growth in areas where you rub or use their depilatory products. According to experts, this assertion is unacceptable because such topical products are just aimed at removing hair from the surface. They are not designed to kill hair follicle or stunt the growth of your hair.

Completely Inhibit Sweating Or Perspiration

Just turn on the television and it would not be long before you see deodorant advertisements that say you will no longer have problems with sweating and perspiration for as long as you use their products. In the first place, you do not want to inhibit sweating forever because it is one of the ways in which your body gets rid of toxins and waste products. Furthermore, there is really no product that can completely prevent perspiration and sweating for life. Maybe it would be wise to just stick to a deodorant that helps neutralize body odor and deal with excessive, not normal, sweating.

Permanently Get Rid Of Dandruff

No manufacturer would sell shampoo or hair product for 10 dollars or less if it can get rid of your dandruff problem for good. If there were a magic product like this, it would probably fetch hundreds or thousands of dollars per bottle. Thus, you should not believe advertisers when they say that brand X shampoo, conditioner or hair tonic completely eliminates your dandruff woes forever.

Avert Hair Loss Or Stimulate Hair Growth

If there were a product that could really make your hair grow or prevent hair loss, then there would be no bald man or woman in the world. What is acceptable is the assumption that one product may help prevent hair loss by strengthening your hair or claims that a product contains ingredients known to assist in stimulating hair follicles to grow.

Contains Ingredients That Make Members Of The Opposite Sex Like You

Even if you bathe in a bottle of perfume, there is no assurance that someone from the opposite sex will like you or get turned on solely because you smell so good or irresistible. Although fragrances may contribute to your sex appeal, there are still other factors to consider. Thus, it is important to buy a cologne or perfume because you like the scent or you feel confident wearing the scent and not because you think you can get a guy or a lady to sleep with you with just a whiff of your fragrance.

Remove Scars

Up until now, there is really no topical product that can definitively remove scars. Some creams may help minimize or reduce the appearance of scars, but there is still no magic scar eraser approved by authorities. If you see a product that is claiming to erase your scars completely, you should ask its manufacturer for proof that can validate their assertions.

Fast Growing Nails

There has been no solid proof that a product can stimulate nail growth. There are so many factors to consider when it comes to your nail health. If you are suffering from nail fungal infections or other nail problems, no amount of nail nourishing product can help you hasten the growth of your nails unless you do something about your problem first. One product that you can count on when it comes to treating nail fungus is Somasin. If you want to know more about how it works and what ingredients it contains, simply visit http://www.somasin.com/.
