Website Top Rankings – One show – Two audiences
by George Josserme
This is an issue that I wanted to write about. It must be fully understood. The concept must be well embedded in a way that you will never forget it. It is of great importance that you keep in mind this concept fresh at all times if you are serious about your website top rankings. This is the crucial concept that you must keep in mind at all times
Think of your web site as one real life show in real life theater. You and
your web site are both on stage. Right in front of that stage ~just like
in most theaters~ there are 2 main groups of chairs both separated by
a wide aisle. On one side of the aisle, there is a large number of chairs
and many rows of them. On the opposite side, there are fewer chairs.
The side with many chairs will be occupied by surfers, and possibly
some few human editors. The side with fewer chairs will be used by
Search Engines' spiders responsible for your website top rankings.
It means that your entire audience is made out of 2 groups
They all come to see your show and how well you presented it.
However, one audience wants to see one thing and the other
audience wants something completely different. Your goal is
to present a show that satisfies both audiences, and how
well you do this will determine your degree of success.
Search Engines’ spiders do not really care about all the bells, whistles, Java, graphics, and candy to the eye that you want to put in your show. Search Engines’ game is all about your website top rankings, and they want content ~and a real good one in each web page~ as well as a long list of other conditions. Should your show be boring and lacking the glitter, the bells, and the whistles, Search Engines are perfectly happy with that. Just remember that you are playing “your” show, but you are playing it in “their” territory.
Surfers, visitors, and editors ~if you ever get one editor~ do not care a bit about the audience on the other side of the aisle. You may do what you want, turn backwards, and optimize your web pages until you get green trying to satisfy spiders. They simply do not care. Some of them may like your graphics and all the glitter of Java, and some of them may not really like any of that. Nonetheless, they do not care about anything you do for Search Engines. Still, you have to be convincing with the words you use in your block of text.
Time and again, my experience has shown that creating web pages form the ground up keeping all of the above in mind is by far the most efficient way to achieve your website top rankings. It comfortably allows keeping both audiences happy. Graphics and candy to the eye can be used when you learn how to wisely place all of it in each of your web pages. Still, none of that will prevent you from giving those big guys we all call Search Engines “exactly” what they want ~again~ if you learn how to do it. After you do, you can rightfully expect that special feeling of satisfaction and sense of achievement when you see climbing your own website top rankings.
Lose sight of this concept and you
will confront difficulties to succeed,
and to gain the website top rankings.

are needed to realistically gain website top ranking.
