All ping services have different thematic and different list of servers where they will update your blog. Here is my advice: “Ping as much as you can use as many ping services as you can”. Some of the services will automatically update your content after you did it once but it better to do it manually.
How often should I ping my blog to see results?
These services usually do not accept more than one update in 12 hours.
It will be good to renew your blog once a day and notify ping services about that.
This is not super traffic generation system, so in the beginning you will get 10 new unique visitors more after few weeks 15 and so on. Of course it depends on content of your blog; it must be interesting and useful.
