What's Einstein and da Vinci Got to do with Creativity in Business?
We're all searching for creative ideas that will provide solutions to the challenges in 21st century life--whether its in our personal lives, with our families, or in the business environment. We are creative "agnostics"--searching for the truths of creativity. We can all benefit from learning to better tap our creative energies for positive results.
According to Michael Ray and Rochelle Myers, co-authors of, Creativity in Business, we are all inherently creative. We simply need to learn to be ourselves, or in their words, "be your own person." We need to celebrate our uniqueness. When the great meditation master, Swami Maktananda was asked what it means to be our own self, he replied, "Do what's convenient. Do what you want to do. Do what's true to your nature." If this creativity thing sounds like Zen, you're right. Purpose in life is the key.
Finding purpose in life is a continuous process, not a one-step solution, according to Ray and Myers. require enthusiasm, and enjoyment. We need to find out what we already find easy for us.
