It is not easy to plan for a wedding if you have a relatively tight budget. You will need to find ways to save money in this case. However, planning for a wedding with a tight budget does not mean that you will lose the fun of wedding planning.

In fact, there are a lot of ways to save money. Taking the wedding favor as an example, you can consider give some DIY favors to your guests. It will save you a lot of money. If you know baking, you can bake some mini cakes yourself and use them as the wedding favor. As a matter of fact this can be a lot more meaningful than purchasing some really expensive favors. At the end of the day you are making the favors yourself and your effort on it cannot be replaced by an expensive item.

Again, if you know baking, you can bake the wedding cake yourself and this also help you to save money. If you can afford the time to learn, you can try to take some courses on baking so that you can make the cake yourself. It will certainly be an impressive cake if you can bake it on your own.

Now, it comes to the wedding invitation. You can save money by printing the invitations yourself. As a matter of fact, you will have more freedom on the design of the cards if you are going to print yourself. You may even personalize the cards in a sense that every guest will receive a different card. It will not be quite impossible for you to do so if you are ordering the invitations outside. From here you can see you can on one hand save money and on the other hand create something more unique and special.

Wedding photographers are something very expensive. You may not really want to hire one if you have a tight budget. You can do it like this. You will ask your friends or relatives who are good at taking photos to help you. At the same time you can let the guests to take the photos. Tell your guest to bring along with their digital camera and ask them to take photos whenever they want to. Of course you may want to ask them to send you the photos after the wedding. It will be interesting to see the photos taken by the guests since these photos are taken from the perspectives of the guests. They are something wedding photographers can never capture!
