So often we are driven to âgive it our allâ through guilt, fear and anxiety, and what happens is that we actually get worse results because we are showing up with a âNOâ in life versus a âYESâ.
When you are All In within the important areas of your life, you can create miracles and manifest the most incredible experiences.
What does it mean to be All In?
A mentor shared a story that illustrates being All Inâ¦ he loves geese and, on the golf course, has many encounters with them. The momma geese bark, stick out their tongues, hiss, and do everything they possibly can to protect their young. The momma geese are All In. They exhibit an unwavering confidence and do whatever it takes to protect their babies. Nothing else matters. Mothers can relate to this example.
The story is filled with love, really, and the momma geese hold nothing back to accomplish their goal.
Our attempts to reach goals are often fueled by fear, anxiety and a stressful state but that leads to burnout, exhaustion and even weight gain. You may find yourself thinking, âI wannaâ be that kind of mother, father, employee, business owner.â, âI want to have that body.â or âI want to lose weight.â
However, guilt most often keep us stuck and we donât get anywhere that way.
You can learn to turn guilt into a âYESââ¦ where unwavering confidence fuels your commitment to reach your goals, and you can be All In!
How can you be All In?
Visualize your goal and what it would feel like to be in that place where youâve reached your goal. Feel the pleasure of that accomplishment.
For example, with weight loss, you most likely initially focus on what you CANâT HAVE, restrictions, and frame it in terms such as, âI have to lose weight.â or âIâll try.â You may have experienced how that kind of thinking halts any forward movement or progress. You canât reach a goal from here.
What would it feel like when youâre already All In?
You can focus on your weight loss goal in a new way and surrender to it to be All Inâ¦ to access your unwavering commitment to reaching the goal.
âI can do this because I want to.â
âLook at all that I CAN have!â
Visualize what it feels like to step into a body that is 15 pounds lighter! Feel it fully. Feel all the pleasures that would be yours in that body.
What happens when you are All In?
You can succeed at accomplishing your goals, with pleasure!
Use the visualization to find the pleasure that you can receive when accomplishing any goal. You can also use it in regard to other relationships. What if you were All In in your relationshipsâ¦ with family, friends, coworkers, business connections, and with God, spirit or the universe (whatever you name that)?
Experience the pleasure fully, be there in your visualization vs. sitting on the other side wanting it or coming at it from fear or anxiety or stress.
Look at areas of your life where youâd like to be ALL in and visualize what would it feel and look likeâ¦ what pleasures would come?
