Can thoughts of memories heal you against the aches of life?

Everyone have their own kind of emotional intensity attached to that person who has left the world and we know that they wouldn’t be back again. For some, they don’t want to live in those memories as it makes them dejected, but for several, the remembrance makes them glad even though for a moment they may be in grieve.
The portrayal of the close affection towards the beloved dead one’s can take a steep turn when the remembrance actually turns into a celebration. The day is termed as “Decoration Day” which came into light with the cause of the civil war. The day was observed as a tribute to the U.S soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country. The ceremony takes place mainly during the summers and the importance of the day is highly viewed, when the families & church get engrossed in the arrangements a week before the mou
ing day. It starts with the cleaning of the cemetery and decorating the graves with fresh flowers. The preaching, singing melodies and communal get together takes place on the ground, which are the ritual parts of the ceremony. The“Arlington National Cemetery” at “Arlington County”,”Virginia” in the US is the final rest place for the soldiers who fought the civil war. The cemetery is a great attraction on this day when large masses together taking part in the ceremony for the remembrance of their loved ones.

The main essence of the day is to honor & make the bond firm from the living to them. It’s the time when people return back to their roots just like when the birds migrate to faraway away distances but every year come back to their territories. With this kind of rituals, the connection between the family and also the community becomes enduring.
