People of all ages need to keep a check on their urological health. If a symptom relating to the urological system persists, it's best to seek medical help than ignoring the problem. Any aggravated infection can lead to bigger health issues in men, women and children. One of the most common urological health problem is incontinence which means the partial or complete loss of control over the bladder. Not only is this condition embarrassing it is highly inconvenient for people suffering from this disorder.

There are a bunch of health conditions that can cause incontinence - the most common being pregnancy in women and diabetes in general. Conditions like enlarged prostate in men and UTI’s in women are highly common as well. A burning sensation while peeing and frequent urge to pee are well known symptoms of a UTI. This condition is usually treated by antibiotics for a couple days.

Few people know, but constipation is also a cause of incontinence.

Another common urological disease is BPH (Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia) in older men. This is why it is recommended for men to religiously get routine tests done to check for this health issue. The major symptom in this case is an enlarged prostate.

Kidney stones are usually caused by the presence of substances like calcium, oxalate and uric acid. Other urological diseases include prostate cancer, bladder cancer, erectile dysfunction and an overactive bladder. rnNatural ways to prevent or even treat some urological diseases (like UTI, etc.) is to drink the recommended amount of water in a day. In addition to this, limiting salt amount and caffeine in your diet is also advisable. Always maintain your body weight and adopt a healthy, smoke-free life. You can also strengthen pelvic muscles with Kegal exercises.

It was recently announced that Nephrologists Association of India is working on a exercise routine that will help prevent and even treat common urological diseases. Contrary to the popular notion that chronic kidney failure patients need full bed rest, urologists are adopting a modern approach to treat patients on dialysis. With such innovation and advancements in medical technology, more and more people suffering from urology related diseases will benefit in a more effective manner. These methods will further reduce the overall cost and change the lifestyle for the better for these patients. There are seminars and workshops being held across the country to teach more doctors and urology experts of new and improved methods of treatment.
