According to Association of National Advertisers in the year of 2015, ‘content marketing was listed as the word of the year’.

2015 was the interesting year for b2b marketers when it comes to lead generation and social media. LinkedIn & twitter remained the major sources of b2b lead generation among various social media channels. Latest Report of Hubspot states the LinkedIn is the top most winning sources in procuring leads.

According to the latest reports by Content Marketing Institute and MarketingProfs “Creating more engaging content remains a top priority for marketers (72 percent) with 41 percent seeking better storytellers.”

Also as per CMI 2016 Reports, this year B2B marketers will be more focused on lead generation, and evidently on sales, but utilization of content and establishing a more transparent way of monitoring ROI and user engagement, in particular, will definitely present a conce
as well.

To achieve success in the business, one should be intuitive and tactful which helps in generating sales and fill your sales funnel. Transparency of ROI will help you to analyze weak points of business and plan, implement strategies accordingly.

Content plays a predominant role in b2b marketing. B2B marketers need to have a clear understanding on what content is more effective and what isn’t. Various sources say that in 2016, producing B2B content in a B2C manner will become a widely popular trend.
