Diovan - The Safest High Blood Pressure Medication

Diovan is an oral medicinal drug that belongs to a special group of medications called angiotensin receptor blockers. The other members of this group are irbesartan , losartan and candesartan. It is also known as Valsartan. It is very effective for blocking the action of angiotensin in our body. Diovan dilates blood vessels and lower blood pressure. This medicinal drug was approved by the FDA in December, 1996. Diovan comes in the form of capsules of 40 mg, 80 mg, 160 mg and 320 mg. These capsules should be preserved at room temperature of 15-30°C.
According to the survey done in 2011, it was found that some Diovan users may also experience hyperkalemia, reduced renal function and some serious allergic reactions. The side effects like inflammation, muscular pain and swelling of soft tissues are rare but serious ones. Diovan is very useful in reducing high blood pressure. It is also used to handle all type of heart diseases and the risk of death after a heart attack.
Diovan is used to lower blood pressure and heart failure. This medication is also given by the doctors to patients after heart attacks. It is very effective in reducing death in patients who developed kidney failure and congestive heart failure. Diovan can also be used to reduce hospitalizations in patients with some serious diseases. This medicinal drug has fewer side effects. Some of the most common side effects are headache, weariness, fatigue , muscle tissue pain, cough and nausea. It is said that the full effect of Diovan can be easily seen within four weeks. It can be used alone or with water pill. If you are taking this medicine from couple of days, then do not stop taking this medicine without asking your doctor.
One should never try to give his own medication to someone else, even if that person having the same problem. Same medication may have different results on different people. This medication can be really harmful for some people who take this medicine even if their physician has not prescribed it. It is always better to take this medication each day on the same time and in the same manner with or without food. For the beginners, the dose for this medicine should be 40 mg and the maximum dose should be160 mg. The results of this medication can be easily seen in blood pressure within 2 weeks. Your doctor can also add two dose a day if your blood pressure constantly remains too high.
