The Associated Bodywork and Massage Professional report that:

65.6 percent wish they had more clients — 21.2 percent indicated that (more clients) was the one change they would most like to make to their practice.

Marketing and Business practices are usually not taught as thoroughly as they need to be to be successful in a massage practice. If you don't have any experience in business, customer service or in marketing, finding enough clients for your massage business can be a challenge.

One of the easiest and most efficient ways of getting more massage clients is having a website that works - that is one that will get you to the top of the search engines, gets the reader to click on the listing and gets them to make the call for an appointment.

While there are many different companies that provide hosting and webdesign services, there are some things you need to know when choosing a company for your hosting (of if you are creating your own site):

-What will they do to get your site found?
-Will they do any keyword research to help you choose the best domain name?
-Will your site and pages be optimized for the search engines?
-Will you be able to set up a blog or rss system to attract search engines?
-Will you be able to collect users email addresses and create a mailing list and be able to send out a email newsletter?
-Will they help you create additional streams of income from your website by selling things through affiliate programs or other ways?
-Will they help you track the results of your site and the effectiveness of your keywords?

These are just a few of the things you need to ask a webhosting company or web design service or a directory.

Creating a website that does all of these things is all that you really need to do to get enough clients so that you will soon be saying "I am sorry. I can't take any new clients. I am booked for 3 months."
