There are many different ways to cure a stuffy nose. You can reduce nasal congestion by reducing the consumption of wheat and dairy products. You should also increase consumption of zinc, vitami
C and other nutrients, which is useful to combat this disease.

Keep your head elevated while sleeping, this helps to reduce the accumulation of mucus. It is also important to stay well hydrated, since it will help you recover faster from a cold. Remember to keep a scarf to keep nasal congestion in control.

The consumption of hot liquids helps with a stuffy nose and general discomfort that come with a cold. Furthermore, try the chicken soup, vegetable broth, tea, apple juice, or other hot beverages. The heat and steam will begin operation on the nose, which can help clear a stuffy nose.

You could also try eating spicy food, which often causes an explosion of mucus. Irritating odors such as onions and menthol may besides help with a stuffy nose as well. You can try cutting an onion in half and keep it under your nose, or you can get a massage of menthol in the nostrils.

Another option to treat nasal congestion is neti poti which is a special home remedy's treatment for nasal congestion. A neti poti looks like a small teapot with a long tube that is designed to go up the nose. The neti poti can be filled with hot water and is used to pour gently into the nose to irrigate and loosen mucus. When used properly, a neti poti pours water all the way through the nasal passages thus helps to get rid of nasal congestion.
