Some people have issues with their past, but just can't seem to let it go. No matter what they do or where they run to the past is always with them. A lot of think people that getting away from their environment will do the trick, what they don’t realize is that they carry their environment within themselves.
A lot of this past which they carry within themselves has to do with their perceptions of the world around them in their younger years. These perceptions can sometimes be very damaging and create for undesired results in one's adult life. Most people in these types of situations go through life, thinking there is no better way to live. Others find other outlets such as drugs, alcohol or some other unhealthy habit to deal with the past.
Most likely at one point or another, these people will turn around and blame what happened to them in the past for what is happening at the moment in their current life. By blaming the past, they can take away the responsibility from themselves and shift the blame onto others. This might work for some, but others still cannot let go of their attitude towards life and sometimes even of how miserable they are. Some people seek out help from professionals such as counselors or therapist, others keep living the way they do, because they are afraid to change and look at themselves to reconcile with their past.
For some people going through traditional therapy causes hardship because it would require them to look at themselves consciously and take ownership of what they have contributed to the issue at hand. With traditional counseling this can go on for many sessions for the issues to be resolved.
There is a non-invasive way of releasing the issues which is Hypnotherapy, this is another alternative available for people to learn to reconcile with their past, but is done subconsciously. It is a very gentle way of dealing with perceptions which were created when one is young. This method has people look at perceptions, but a new light is shed on the situation, where things can seem a lot less damaging. The change can sometimes happen within the first 90 minutes. Lifetime of hard, negative self-worth living can be resolved this quickly, sounds unreal, but happens all the time with hypnosis.
