FRP is Factory Reset Protection. Android devices provide in-built security for protecting the phone and its information It includes screen locks and data encryption. It is a security feature with versions Lollipop 5.1 and higher.

FRP is automatically set when you use a google account in your phone for the first time and once it is activated, it doesn’t allow the use of device unless and until you log in using a google username and password of your account.

When you activate the Factory Data Reset option, everything on your phone is erased like the files and whatever apps you have downloaded in the past. It returns to default factory settings.

If you want to reset your phone to default, you should make sure you remember you google account details because at the end of the process, you need to log in to them.
If a person who is not authorized even tries to reset the device by another method, the device would still require logging in using your Google username and password.

This means that even if your device is lost or stolen, another person would not be able to reset it. Your FRP is active if you google account is set up on your device and active and even if you have multiple accounts on your phone you can still use any one of your accounts by logging in to your phone.

FRP was a great invention for battling frauds and other illegal activities but it is a hindrance for those who have bought hand me down phones as whenever they reset their phones, they don’t know the previous user id and password.

Now there a lot of tools to help bypass FRP lock in android devices.

If you want to bypass FRP verification on different Android devices like Samsung, LG, Nexus and others, here is how.

Since Android is customized by manufacturers on different phones, the FRP bypass methods may not work on all the android phones

Method 1: Bypass Google Account through OEM

1) When you view the FRP page, long press the “@” on the keyboard until a window opens up.
2) Click Google Keyboard Settings on the window that opened.

3) Click on the three dots on the upper right side and select Help & Feedback item. Select an item and long press to copy some of the text. You will view a web search option on the upper right. Click the icon and on the search bar and type Settings.
4) Enter the Settings app of the phone. Go to Developer Options and if the option is not in the list, tap on Build Number seven times to take out Developer Options and allow OEM Unlocking.

At last, long press the Power button to reboot the phone. When setting up the phone, instead of the FRP page, you'll see "Add your account" page. Add a Google account and you can enter the device now.

Old devices of Samsung with previous versions of Android like the Galaxy Note 2, S3, and S4 did not come with FRP lock, but since then most of them have got Android Lollipop updates. So these users are also experiencing issues to bypass the lock screen.

But, with newer versions of Android coming up, the FRP lock is getting harder to bypass. These methods can have a probability of working if you have previous Android versions.

Method 2: FRP Bypass APK

Basically, FRP bypass app helps you to remove Google account lock in the following steps.

1) Choose a suitable FRP bypass app, such as FRP Bypass APK, Pangu FRP Bypass APK. You need to pay for some of the tools owing to their importance.

2) Make sure you download the bypass FRP tool on a USB drive.

3) Now, connect the USB drive to the phone via an OTG cable. Then install the APK in your phone. After downloading the FRP bypass app, you can see that you get access to phone settings and erase everything, including the previous Google account on the phone.

4) If you don't own an OTG cable, you can also use a FRP bypass tool with computer to complete the process.
