How to take homeopathic remedies?

The proper way of storing homeopathic medicine is keeping them in the dark and away from direct sunlight. In fact it is important to remember never to allow direct sunlight on the homeopathic pills at any time.- Keep the homeopathic medicine in cool places but preferably not in the
refrigerator though.

- How to handle homeopathic medicine
Try not to touch the homeopathic pills during handling. The correct way is to shake out one pill into the bottle cap and then tip the pill straight from the cap into the mouth.
If the homeopathic pills are given in an envelope then open the envelope carefully and empty the pills straight into the mouth again without touching them.
Place the homeopathic pills beneath the tongue and just let it dissolve within a few minutes where it will subsequently enter the bloodstream and bypassing the digestive process.. - What is the right timing to take homeopathic remedies
In general, homeopathic remedies should be taken at least 30 minutes before or after meals unless different instructions are given. If the meal consists of garlic then wait 3 hours before taking the homeopathic remedy as any strong taste in the mouth can antidote extremely sensitive remedies. If you need to take more than two remedies then allow a minimum of 30 minutes between each dosage. - When to repeat homeopathic medicine
- Feeling better
If you already feel better after taking the homeopathic remedies for two further days, you can discontinue and take them again only if the same complaint returns. - Feeling worse
However if you feel temporarily worse after consuming one or two dosages then immediately discontinue the homeopathic remedy and re-take only when you begin feeling as you were to start with. Actually this initial aggravation of symptoms is a good sign that the chosen remedy is in fact correct. Expect this pattern to happen several times though. - No changes
If you do not feel any changes occurring, try to take the stated dosage twice as often for a while. Never just double up the amount of the homeopathic pills. It is not the quantity of pills that is important but the number of time that you take them. The correct dosage is quite personal and very dependent on your own susceptibility to a particular homeopathic remedy.
However of you still feed gradually getting worse despite taking the homeopathic remedies or new symptoms appear, then it is urgent that the case be reassess.

The caffeine in both coffee and tea can antidote most homeopathic remedies. However decaffeinated beverages are okay. Preferably no spirits or wines should be consumed for at least 3 hours after taking the homeopathic remedies. - Do not smoke
After taking the homeopathic remedies, try not to smoke for as long as possible. In fact, if at all possible, do not even smoke at all as smoking will eventually cause future health problems.
