First thing is to know what does love means for you. What it is. What do you expect from it and how do you express it. Try to separate love from thoughts like lust, sexual desire, fascination or infatuation. Those usually fade after a while.

Try to put all other things away, his money and his career.

Try to honestly answer simple question yourself:

Do you still want to be with him?

Can you exist without him by your side?

How you do feel about him?

Do you enjoy his company?

Do you have similar interests?

Do you feel safe?

Do you trust him?

Do you think he is attractive?

Could he be your husband? (if he’s not already).

Think about how well the two of you relate to each other. How do you communicate? Do you argue often? Do you know all his sides? Love isn't just loving the parts of him you like. You need to accept him as a whole person.

If most of your answers would be ‘yes’ then you’re in love.

Don’t forget to show your feeling for him at every occasion, try to avoid saying ‘I love you’ just after he got you a present. Try to say it as a first thing in the morning or when you watch a movie, than he’ll know he deserved it by loving you, not by buying you.
