Finding a solution to back pain or sciatica can be a real dilemma for many people. One of the main reasons back pain and sciatica does not clear up quickly with conventional treatments, is because the treatments are not really dealing with the underlying cause of the problem.

Instead they are all very symptom based and often fail to take into account the critical part the mechanics of the body and spine play in setting up the problem. The symptoms that are felt are more often than not, just a product of an out of balance muscle system.

Often ending up with ongoing back pain or sciatica without a simple enough solution causes people to turn to surgery. Unfortunately this is often a misguided decision because again, it doesn’t deal with the real cause of the problem and is only a band aid treatment targeting the symptoms.

A more natural, effective way of addressing the symptoms so that you can spend time relatively or even completely pain free, long enough to deal with these underlying muscle imbalances, is to take pressure off the spine by working on the erector spinae muscles.
