The sad thing is New Year resolutions are often broken within hours or days. Why do we do that? May be at the time by making some resolutions we think they are promises, but in fact they're wishes. A promise is a commitment and it requires a lot of hard work and sacrifice.

Why is it that often a resolution which starts out like a wish manages to evolve into a promise, and after that into a positive life change, for that person in that circumstances the pain associated with taking action towards the desire outcome was less than the pain associated with doing nothing. In other words, the level of pain needed to change became greater than the level of pain associated with doing nothing.

This is a phenomenon and is the exact opposite to the way most people live their lives, most of the time.

If you’ve been told you had only months to live, than the pain, associated with failure would be enough to motivate you to change your diet at once.

So, there it is if you want 2017 be the Year, finally stop talking and actually take action towards the goal you been talking or thinking about.

Having any health issue change of diet is one of the first steps required.

We ask ourselves why the diet, if the food we consumed over many years would have been perfect and contained all the vitamins, minerals, protein etc. Most likely there would not be a health issue in the first place. Keep in mind: every one's body is different and not everyone can have the same diet, in other words there is no perfect diet for everyone.

Let your body tell you what foods are best for you. You can experiment for yourself and check your body's reaction. Experiment and abandon any previously held convictions you might have had about diet.

Just as an example, people think being a staunch vegetarian they are the healthiest and doing the right thing, not every one's body reacts the same. The same person may feel better if he were a strong protein type person on a high quality vegetarian diet, you may not feel as well as you should. So by modifying your diet to an animal protein diet could improve you health and make you feel better.

Again you must listen to your own body.

Lifestyle changes such as diet and exercise; these are effective remedies for many common health problems, but many people still do not realize just how effective lifestyle changes are in treating a disease.

Why take risks with drugs only to find out years later of all the side effects in many cases far worse than the sickness in the first place. Just recently a cancer drug was taken of the market due to severe side effects, the likes of internal bleeding, high blood pressure, heart failure and many more. It joins a long list of many other failed drugs in the past of which had to be taken off the market.

My own experience with a prostate problem, by asking the doctor different questions about this drug he was going to subscribe for me, the answer was, this drug will fix your symptom but, here comes the big but, but the problem is it has strong side effects and these side effects could be cancer forming. Well, let me tell you I dropped that idea like a hot potato, and found other solutions, natural ones to fix my problem, and this was years ago and I am still going strong.

So the moral of the story is, when it comes to script medicine check it out, don't just take what they want to give you. Look for alternatives, search and look for natural products. The effect of curing the problem is not as quick as drugs but it is safe and has no side effects. It probably will fix the problem in general and not just the symptoms like drug medicine.

If you made a health resolution for this year stick with it stay and stay positive. Your health problems and pain will improve the natural way.
