It is necessary to approach solution of the problem for organization treatment of psoriasis in order to cope with the signs of pathology and prevent the occurrence of complications. So, the main components of therapy the disease are:
Systemic preparations of various spectrum of action - cytostatics, immunosuppressors, antidepressants, pain medications, antispasmodics, enterosorbents, hepatoprotectors, antibiotics;
External means - creams, gels, ointments, sprays with antibacterial, analgesic, keratolytic, antipruritic, wound-healing effect. Such compounds allow to clean the skin quickly of psoriatic plaques, minimize the discomfort created by the fluid elements and prevent the emergence of new formations.
Dietotherapy. Correction of the diet is the first measure which is prescribed to patients with psoriasis. So, exclude sharp, excessively salty and fatty food, sharp, fried dishes, smoked products, conservation from the daily menu of patients. It is saturated with cellulose (vegetables, fruits), various porridges, freshly squeezed juices, herbal teas, fruit drinks instead these. The daily amount of fluid for patients with psoriasis should be at least 2.5-3 liters (preferably if it is mineral water without gas).
Folk remedies. Decoctions, infusions, herbal tinctures have a pronounced symptomatic effect and allow you to cope with itching, flaking, painful sensations and flushing, swelling, prevent the appearance of new feces. Leaders are such herbs as celandine, chamomile, nettle, calendula and etc.
Physiotherapy. Influence on affected skin centers by ultraviolet, cold, laser. Such treatment is symptomatic and preventive character.
The scheme for fighting psoriatic manifestations is selected based on the form of the disease, the intensity and localization of the inflammatory process, age and general health of the patient (the presence of concomitant illnesses or lack thereof). All medical and preventive measures should be selected only by a dermatologist after a comprehensive survey of the patient.
