When it comes to taking charge of unwanted negative thoughts it has been my experience that one must entertain the idea of actually “purging” them from the mind/body. This implies that such thoughts are not only toxic but are also foreign to who you really are. If you’d like to learn how they managed to get inside of you in the first place, how they have deceived you into thinking that they are a part of you and how to finally purge them then this may interest you.
So how do you know that they are toxic?
Well if you reflect on one of these negative thoughts, say “I’m inadequate” how does that belief make you feel and what does it do to you? On reflection you’ll recognise that it makes you “feel” inadequate, incapable, defective, broken, incompetent, insecure, helpless, unmotivated, sad, depressed, anxious, it depletes your enthusiasm and energy for anything and ultimately shuts you and your life down.
So does that sound toxic to you?
If so then you may wish to try the following. Place one hand over your Heart and as if you are speaking from there simply affirm to your self that you recognise that this belief is toxic to you. Then notice how you feel in and around your Heart. You may notice some positive feelings emerging from there. If so and you like this experience simply affirm that to yourself and it will grow stronger.
So how do you know that negative thoughts are foreign to you?
Well, now that you’ve done the exercise above you will likely have greater clarity on this issue. You will recognise that you would never consciously choose to believe this about yourself hence the negative belief could not possibly have come from you. If you see this then simply affirm that to yourself via your Heart as well.
So how did these negative thoughts get inside you in the first place?
Well, you were conditioned/programmed, likely at an early age by negative experiences that “taught” you to believe such negative stuff about yourself. Another way of saying this is that you were effectively “hypnotized” into believing this negativity. The negative memories associated with, and which also support, the negative thoughts remain stored deep inside you at an unconscious level, far away from your detection.
So how do these negative thoughts deceive you into accepting that they are true?
Now many individuals tend to accept, without question, these negative beliefs about themselves because the memories that generate them are part of their so called “life history” i.e. part of one’s past. Most individuals also believe that they “are a product” of this past and hence this means to them that the negative beliefs must somehow reflect the “truth” about them. Well, if one never questions this so called “truth” then one will remain forever stuck in that negative “trance”.
So how does one permanently purge negative thoughts from the mind/body?
In order to permanently “wake up” from the trance it becomes imperative to purge the negative beliefs/thoughts along with their corresponding negative memories forever. There is now a new coaching process that can accomplish this easily, rapidly and permanently.
