Removing a tree from one’s premises can be a painful task as huge trees really take long to be totally uprooted. Though one might feel bad in the initial stages, but it is a necessary task if it is obstructing the view or damaging the beauty of the premises. Doing the task by oneself is fine, but doing it with the help of tree felling professionals can make the task easy and also takes much less time to get completed. They use tools and equipment that can make removal of trees quick and of course easy. A tree surgeon in Perth knows the process to cut down trees very well and is also aware of the process to remove a stump. Tree Removal Cost Perth Yes, after cutting down a large tree, the stump usually still remains standing which must be taken out separately. Getting rid of the stump is important otherwise it will become an eyesore. It can be dug up by hand, or one can grind it. Some people even use chemicals to remove stump if it is a really heavy tree. Professionals remove the stump only after noting the size of it and of course the position of the house. Different Ways to Remove Stump Arborists follow different ways of getting rid of the stump. Some of the ways are: • Digging the Stump- In this method, a shovel is used and the digging out is done manually. It is dug deep to expose the roots which are cut up as soon as they are visible. After cutting up the roots, they are pulled out of the ground. Once the roots are out, the stump will become loose which can then be easily dug out. • Grinding the Stump- This is done by machines. It uses sheer force and power to grind the stump into the ground and remove it. While operating it, the grinder should be moved around the circumference of the stump so that the aerial roots can also be removed. Once, the grinding is over; shovel can be used to collect the debris and dispose it off. • Burning the Stump- Burning will require permission. The fire department must permit the owner to burn the stump and only then can the work begin. The first step is to build a wood fire on the stump with other chopped-up wood pieces. Light the woods and let the fire burn for a good amount of time. It takes some time to burn the entire wooden heap. After everything has burned down, remove the ash with a shovel and fill out the hole. • Chemical Usage- In order to do this, the stump must be drilled to create several holes into it. The holes must be at an equal distance so that the chemical that is poured through those holes is distributed evenly. The stump will begin to rot in some time and become softer. When it has become totally soft, it can be burned and levelled after the collection of ashes. Tree Lopping Perth Normally, tree removal cost in Perth is between $500 to $1000 depending on the length of the trunk and also on the number of trees to be removed. $20-$25 can be charged for felling additional trees.
