There’s a good reason that part of the mind is referred to as the “unconscious mind”. It’s because much of what lives there is inaccessible to you. Ironically, much of what is there also controls your attitudes, your perceptions, your emotional reactions, and your behaviours, defines your personality and in effect runs your life. So, if you’re not feeling a bit frustrated by this enslavement then this article is not for you.
I don’t have to use a metaphor but I will to drive the point home for those individuals who prefer to believe that they are fully in control of themselves. You see, it’s like running your computer on outdated software without even knowing that you have the opportunity to update it. In other words one is left totally incapacitated and stifled.
So what does that unconscious software consist of and what can be done about it?
Well it consists of the record of what I refer to as your “life history” stored within in the form of negative memories from your so called early life. Such memories tend to condition or “program” you into a definite and circumscribed set of beliefs about yourself, others and the world around you. In other words they enslave you in an invisible prison in the mind that you identify with so closely that you never question its existence.
The only way to know that its even there is to look back at the course of one’s life and notice the circuitous and often regrettable route one has taken to get to where they are. This self reflection will uncover many undesirable events that at the time seemed so unavoidable. Unfortunately the memories of those events not only have been stored within, they have also helped to attract similar negative events into one’s life.
There is only one way to effectively re-program this unconscious stuff and that is to uncover it and erase it for good. How does one do that however if it is unconscious?
It turns out that these negative memories generate negative thoughts and emotions that surface into the conscious mind and which serve as markers for the underlying source i.e. much like bubbles coming from an under water diver.
There markers are readily traced back to their source via a new coaching process that permanently facilitates their erasure as well as the erasure/extraction of the memories themselves. When this happens a very interesting thing happens. The mind becomes instantaneously reformatted with a powerful energy that enlivens the mind and body. That energy is the person’s Life Force Energy.
Your Life Force Energy is the all knowing, discerning and creative energy that is supposed to be the primal force guiding your perceptions, attitudes, choices and behaviours. Another way of saying that is that “you” take over the helm of your mind and life. Life Force Energy, by the way, is also the source of all of one’s positive resources i.e. self esteem, self confidence, inner strength, resilience, wellness, peace of mind, optimism, contentment, etc.
