NLP. continues to flourish in popularity day by day all-round the world. So what is NLP? Well I will give you a few good descriptions of what NLP. is, or to give it its full name of Neuro-Linguistic Programming. NLP. is the art and science of brilliance, resulting from analysing how the top people in diverse fields acquire their exceptional outcomes, or NLP. is a model of how a person can organize their exclusive experiences of life; it is a combination of practical techniques of how to act efficiently in the world; another description, is the study of excellent communication and thinking. These communication skills can be acquired by anyone to advance their efficiency both personally and professionally.
People learn NLP so they can communicate with family, friends, strangers and work colleagues more effectively and to improve performance in any context. It makes use of both unconscious and conscious methods that can begin to improve communication skills, self-confidence, incentive and attainment. Also it is completely connected to increasing the capacity to influence and persuade. It is also effectual in conquering blocks or obstacles produced by an absence of these skills.
Some practical uses of NLP include:
1. The ability to create more choices in your life.
2. Increase your social as well as your personal skills - you can work to grow and expand your existing skills.
3.Assistance with bad habits like smoking, drinking, over-eating and phobias (like the fear of heights, snakes, air travel ect).
4. Develop great business skills like enhanced leadership, coaching skills, improved sales skills and persuasion skills.
5. The ability to help others to change limiting beliefs and behaviour quickly.
The six major building blocks of NLP: Neuro-Linguist-Programming explains some of the ways that this new mind technology works.
1. Neuro = neurology: this new mind technology analyses and works with, how people think and how they store their past experiences and then put them to beneficial use if need be.
2. Linguist = linguistic: the analyses of how a person uses language. This includes non-verbal language as well. Basically it's the analyses of how successful people use language patterns to achieve their goals.
3. Programming: what the programing means is the aptitude that a person needs to arrange their actions and thoughts and then to access these past experiences so that they can be programmed and sequenced in the best way to help in achieving a specific sought after ambition.
4. Attitude: it means that a person needs to work in the finest, physical and emotional state possible to accomplish a task and to produce the best possible results.
5. Modelling: this entails a person to model successful people's actions so they can attain comparable results. The person needs to start by asking the successful person that is to be modelled suitable questions on how exactly he achieved his goals.
6. Techniques: a positive min-set and an enthusiasm for modelling will in effect bring on numerous new techniques. People who practice Neuro-linguist-programming have created numerous valuable techniques to aid others to conquer blocks and limiting beliefs that hold them back from reaching their goal. Good Luck!
