Stop The Bleeding
Occupy Consciousness knows how critical it is to ‘stop the bleeding’ soonest possible. Below is an excerpt from my Dec 05.11 post at http://occupycafe.org after interaction with a subgroup using Maestro Conferencing. Our topic ‘From I to we Consciousness.’
Greed and corruption now threaten this tract of humanity in ways few imagined. The present monetary system relies on debt, which relies on people buying continuously. This breeds excessive waste beyond a finite planets ability to cope, and placing profit before Earth and people conflicts with natural systems upon which we all depend for survival. Consequently, it is imperative to ‘stop the bleeding’ soonest possible at all levels of human behavior, and eliminate potential for future bleeds.
Steve proposes prohibition of any funding from entities to Congress, and that Congress receives money only from the people, a powerful incentive for Congress to make decisions for the collective greater good. It was revealed that politicians are aware, and in some cases ashamed of their stewardship, which reminds us that politicians are human too, well at least we hope they are!
Everything is love or a cry for love, which is for-giving. At this critical juncture, compassion, forgiveness, unity, and love are integral to raising collective Consciousness. As people replace judgment with expanded awareness of Self and other-Selves, unite in our differences, and thaw our hearts, it’s possible to dilute a possible economic tsunami from wiping out most if not everyOne. Like it or not, we all need each other now.
