Local news for Local people became even easier to access this month as The Eye magazine launched its brand new fully interactive website.
The new website (launched 10th November 2011) was designed to build on the success of the previous website, whilst including new features which make the experience even better for the user, such as:

• A wider, more extensive news archive designed to be accessible to all
• Up to date breaking stories available directly from the home screen
• A classifieds section – got something you want to sell? Post it on The Eye Magazine website for free!
• New photo galleries – linked with our Flickr account

Running in conjunction with our brand new website, The Eye Magazine is also proud to announce the launch of The Official Eye Magazine Facebook page. The new Facebook page links directly to our website, meaning new information posted to our site will instantly appear on our Facebook page. Making sure local news travels to local ears!

Visitors to the new website can view all of the articles posted and even post news, poems and stories of their own quickly and easily! Sharing news and stories with friends keeps everybody up to date on local news & happenings.
Readers of the magazine who sign up to a FREE Eye Magazine account on the website can also comment on news stories and articles, making sure their views on local stories are heard.

Helping support local photographers The Eye Magazine’s brand new website also links to our existing Flickr page & Flickr groups, meaning photographs of local areas can be easily viewed on our new website (http://www.flickr.com/groups/theeyecleveland ).
