Creativity. When we think of this term, we often think about those young and brash men and women who have a vision. And when they put these visions to action, they ended up changing the world. Good examples of theoretical thinkers are the likes of Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, and many more. While this impression is not at all wrong, it is not exactly as it is. Take telemarketing, for example. Can you give one personality that can be said to change the world of lead generation and appointment setting? No, I am sure you were not able to. That is because the creative thinkers in this line of work belong to a different set of innovators. These are the people whom we call as experimenters.

Experimental creativity, unlike the more popular theoretical creativity, is conce
ed more about the numbers. The people with this kind of mindset are more interested in getting data from their research and experiments. They take time to produce results, but unlike the usual trial and error methods of theory, they are more capable of producing good results. But that does not mean that we must do concentrate on this group of workers. Rather, we must be able to enhance their ability, put our trust in what they are on to, and help them work better with the theoretical workers. This can have a lot of impact in the field of lead generation and appointment setting services. It can affect the way you get B2B leads.

But how can you make it work?

To start with, try getting both types of thinkers to work together. Sure, they would more often than not clash against each other, but whatever results that end up in the middle ground are good for the firm. Someone must always be willing to shovel coal in the boiler, while another is keeping a close eye on the gauge, so to speak.

Second, try creating rewards meant only for late-bloomers. Whether you show results early on or not does not really make much of a difference. Experimenters need time before results can be obtained, and it may take some time. Creating a rewards system tailored for them will not only raise their morale, it will also compel them to keep working on what they are doing.

And lastly, nurture experimenters properly. The difference between theoretical thinkers and experimenters is in terms of methodology. The former thrives on change, and would love to try new think. The latter group, on the other hand, prefers tried and tested means to get things done. For example, if telemarketing has worked for them in getting new business leads, experimental thinkers would still use telemarketing in getting other results.

That is how different these kinds of people are. If you do not know how to deal with both kinds of thinkers properly, then you might end up missing a great deal. Observe these tips carefully, and try observing your employees better. You never know. You might have brilliant gem sitting right at a corner.

The Evolution of the Doorstep Handshake In the early days of the renewable energy boom, the transition to solar power was often viewed as a purely transactional event.
