When you are going through a rough time the last thing you think about is the light at the end of the tunnel. Regardless of what the situation is, you are drowning in it. Your emotions are running rapid and you can’t quite get a grip on things. You have tunnel vision at this point and the future looks pretty cloudy.

Time heals all wounds. Even though yesterday did not bring you what you had anticipated, and right now you are struggling to find hope, the next minute and each minute after that, you will find it. With each and every moment that passes you are adapting, you are changing. You are learning to put that situation into its proper perspective. You are shifting out of the sense of sorrow and helplessness of it all. You have to deal with all emotions of the situation in order to ever come to terms with it.

If it is the loss of a loved one you have to come to terms with that person not being around you anymore, you can’t drown out the hurt. You have to make peace with yourself so that you can start to treasure those special memories. If someone has hurt you, you have to come to terms with it and realize that everyone is not the same as the person that hurt you. You will have to start trusting in people again or you won’t heal from it. If it is a financial loss, you have to know that this is only temporary. You carve your own road in this life and everything is possible if you open your heart and mind to it.

You are greater than the situations that are put upon you. Adjusting to all of the hard blows that life throws at you takes a lot of inner strength. If you don’t have that inner strength at this moment, you will with time and patience. Family and friends can help you mend, if you are not at that point in your life to trust others just remember not everyone will let you down, but you have to take the first step and allow yourself time to trust again.

Every second, every minute is a moment in time. I can only pray that with each second it will find you closer to coming to terms with things so that you can enjoy each moment you are given. Start reflecting with passion each moment on so that you realize just how vital you are to yourself and to others. Time does heal all wounds if you allow it to. May you find peace, just as I have. There is no feeling like it.
