Try using rock music while you work out. When you are lacking in motivation you may want to turn on your favorite music and play it loudly. Your body will react to the beat and start moving to it. Moving your body feels great, and it is so easy to do, so get moving. Enjoy the music and let go. If you aren't busy tracking how much longer you have left in the workout, you may even spend more time exercising than you originally intended.
It's a lot more fun to exercise when you have a buddy to keep you company. You can use your time to chat or catch up with each other when you are at the gym or while running. You can even gossip a bit. Working out with a friend helps the time go by fast and keeps you motivated to reach your fitness goals. That's what friends are here for!

Without the proper motivation you could stop exercising altogether, which is a huge risk. Changing a workout routine around regularly is a good idea to keep things fresh. Variety is important to keeping yourself interested in work outs. Once you stop your exercise routine, it is extremely difficult to regain your motivation to start again and any benefits you have achieved may soon be lost.
Give yourself some sort of reward every time you reach a fitness goal. That way, you will remain enthusiastic about continuing your program. Even something like a few pieces of candy or a new shirt can be a reward. When trying to think of an appropriate reward, you have to make sure it is something that you will really anticipate and will not have trouble obtaining.
