Did you know that negative thoughts are similar to hypnotic suggestions that seduce you into believing something about yourself that isn’t true? What’s more, did you know that it’s possible to become completely “dehypnotized” and permanently wake up to the real you? If this has sparked a moment of wakeful interest then this will interest you.
What is a hypnotic suggestion?
Well it is a belief held in the unconscious mind that is supposed to convince you that something which isn’t true is in fact the truth. In other words it’s about “tricking” the mind i.e. your mind, into having a different perception of reality. In this same light negative thoughts are hypnotic suggestions that “en-trance” you into believing something negative about yourself which isn’t true.
So how does one know that these negative thoughts are not the truth?
Well many people believe their “beliefs” represent (or at least try to represent) the truth. If this were so then a negative thought such as “I’m inadequate”, if accepted as the truth about you, should make you feel a sense of certainty about who or what you are thus leading to a greater sense of identity, security, self assuredness, self confidence, and so on. The point however is that it doesn’t! Rather it makes you “feel” inadequate, defective, broken, helpless, useless, lacking self confidence, incapable, and so on.
If you are following me here, you will have noticed that I have mentioned two conflicting sources of information i.e. what you believe versus what you feel.
So how does one know what is the real truth?
Well, let me first say that you sort of already know it because you know that negative thoughts are inherently undesirable to you. That’s why you were drawn to this article in the first place. That awareness is sourced from your feelings about them. In other words, the truth emerges from one’s “feeling self”. Now this may make some of you uneasy because a) you may not know where that is and b) you have learned to mistrust your feelings as a source of guidance. Well, would it surprise you if I said that that’s the reason you find yourself stuck in a trance of negativity?
So how can one become de-hypnotized from the trance of negative thoughts?
There is a new coaching process developed over 10 years ago that helps you realign your awareness with that “feeling” truth and in doing so the old negative hypnotic suggestions simply float away like a mist never to return. This will usher in an entirely new awareness of who and what you are that will astound you.
Metaphorically this is like walking off a theatrical stage, casting aside one’s acting role and restoring one’s true identity as a whole, complete, and empowered human being.
If you are “feeling” inspired by what you have read so far that essentially means that your true self is already beginning to wake up. If you like how that feels then place one hand over your Heart and as if you are speaking to your self from there simply affirm that to yourself.
If you would like to begin to fully wake up then kindly visit the web site below where you can get started by reading more about this process or by requesting a free introductory telephone consultation.
