Engaging in exercises that enable you to work on your cardio tend to be the best for this as you can engage in them for short periods of time yet still get the full benefits. For example, you could decide to take a brisk walk for half an hour every day and this is a good way to get your blood circulating. When you are taking part in exercise, ensure that you take note of your breathing. It is through breathing that your body receives the oxygen that it will send to the brain. Ensure that you are taking deep breaths of air that completely fill up your abdomen. This will contain all the oxygen necessary to enhance your memory and the brain. Exercise forms such as yoga or Pilates are also good for your brain as not only do they get your blood pumping, but they also teach you how to meditate and therefore clear your mind.
Keep in mind that your brain is like a muscle, you need to exercise it for it to become strong. The same goes for your memory. Another thing that you can do to enhance your memory and the brain is by engaging in games that challenge your mind. Such games include puzzles, crosswords, and riddles and so on. There are even memory games that you can play alone that will help strengthen your memory. Other things that can exercise your brain include doing math problems once in a while, this will stimulate the logic side of your brain. To better your memory, sit down once in a while and try to think back as far as you can to earliest memories. The more you try this, the higher the chances that you will start remembering something.
