Much easier to install and configure than a traditional telephone exchange: A software program running on a computer can use the advanced computer processing of the computer and the user interface and features of Windows. Anyone who can work with a computer and with Windows can install and configure the PBX. Easier to manage thanks to the configuration interface on the web: A VOIP telephone exchange has a web-based configuration interface, which allows you to easily manage your phone system and tailor your needs. Traditional telephone exchanges often have a complicated interface that is usually designed so that only the system installer can use them efficiently. Saving on phone charges: You can significantly save on phone charges by calling on a VOIP service provider for local, regional, national or international calls. You can simply connect between the different exchanges/departments and you are free to call.rnNo phone cables needed - You use your computer network: With a VOIP telephone exchange, you can plug a phone directly into a standard network port of a computer (the port can be shared with the connected computer). Software phones can be installed directly on the PC. This means that you do not have to install and maintain a separate cable network for the phone system, which gives you much more flexibility for adding users and/or devices. If you involve a new office and have not yet installed telephone cables, you can significantly save by simply installing a computer network. Not bound to suppliers: Use standard telephones: VOIP telephone exchanges are an open standard - all modern VOIP telephone exchanges like Yeastar IP PBX use SIP as protocol. This means that you can use virtually any SIP VOIP phone or VOIP gateway hardware. Unlike a traditional telephone exchange, which often requires branded phones to use advanced features, and expansion modules from the manufacturer to add features. Customizable: Traditional systems no longer meet: Adding phone line or devices often means expensive hardware upgrades. In some cases, even the entire phone system must be renewed. This is not the case with a VOIP telephone exchange: An ordinary computer can easily handle a large number of phone lines and devices - to expand, just add devices to your network! Better service & higher productivity: As calls are made through the computer, it is much simpler for programmers to integrate business applications. For example, an incoming call can automatically call the caller's client file, which greatly improves customer focus and reduces costs, due to less time spent on callers. Outbound calls can be started directly from Outlook, so the user does not have to dial a phone number. Software-based phones are easier to use: Advanced phone features like conference calls are often very difficult to realize with traditional phones. That's not the case with software-based SIP phones. Features in Yealink Phones are easy to run from a user-friendly windows interface. More standard features: Because a VOIP telephone exchange is software based, it is easier for the programmers to develop, add and improve feature sets. That's why most VOIP phone exchanges come with a comprehensive set of features, including automated answering, voice mail, queues and more. These options are often very expensive in traditional systems. Better control through better reporting: VOIP systems keep information about incoming and outgoing calls in a database on your server, giving you a much more detailed overview of call charges and phone traffic. Better overview of current system status and conversations: In traditional systems, you often need expensive "system devices" to determine the status of your overall phone system. And even then the status information is still very cryptic. With VOIP systems, you can control which users see the system status graphically through a web browser.rnUsers can plug in their phone anywhere in the company:rnThe user simply takes his phone, plug it into the nearest ethernet port and retains his number!
