What does New Years mean to you? Is it just another day? What emotions come up? Does the mere thought of the New Year bring you to tears or does it make you feel hopeful, excited and happy? Are you so excited to make your New Year’s resolutions and go after your dreams? Are you all pumped up to continue on the path you set this year and bring it forward into the next year in a bigger way?

For me, New Years Eve’s approach comes with great excitement to continue on the path I have set this year. I am thrilled to see some of my work manifest in a bigger way, create an impact and build on itself. However, there is also a sense a relief for surviving another year healthy, with a roof over my head, with my family in tact and food on the table. I am very grateful this time of year to take stock and be reminded of all the wonderful things in my life. I am happy I survived all the life changes, the big move to NYC, the ups and downs of my personal finances, letting go of a place I treasured and objects that were very important to me but was time to release, meeting new people, missing my friends in Chicago, building my business in New York, networking for my business, living in a new neighborhood and having to figure out how to live in NYC again after 7 years. There were times of a lot of fear, times of emotional relief, and times of tremendous happiness and joy. In the end, I made all the right moves, and the divine plan in action has landed me in a great place, emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually. I am so happy to be home where I am. I am grounded and clear and in alignment with my soul and its purpose.

How did I get here? Well, the how is up to you. To start, you need real courage to make the necessary changes. It takes a strong will and countenance to decide to love yourself enough that you are going to take some chances, and spend some money that you might not feel you have and invest in yourself, your purpose and your future. I am completely invested in creating a life of freedom from fear. Some ideas of how you can look forward and celebrate your New Year by making lists of:

* Gratitude: everything you are grateful for and in the last year.
* What are you excited about for the New Year?
* What would you like to create for yourself next year?
* What would you like to create in your business or in you work?
* What are you willing to invest in your wellbeing, along with your Soul’s advancement and healing?
* How will you take care of your body, mind and spirit?
* What would you like to leave behind in the past?
* What brings you 'Joy' and start incorporating those things in your life regularly without hesitation or question.

Start there. Make as many lists as you need too, but try to stick to what you really desire to accomplish. Definitely put on your lists those things that you can’t live another day without having, that your heart is asking of you. It is always good to ask yourself while you are creating these lists: "Are you willing to do what it takes to make your desires manifest?" Also, one other suggestion, let us call this list “Manifestations,” along with “What I am willing to let go,” not resolutions. Resolutions are usually challenging at best to commit and stick to past January sadly because resolutions ask you to use your willpower, not your heart’s desires. However, the good news is when you create a list of what you really desire from your heart, not from your head, and work toward those things, you cannot fail because the Universe starts to conspire with you to create those things for you and your life. It also brings people into your life to help get you there. All you have to do with courage is set the intention, ask and create action, then watch your life shift in incredible ways!

To a very Happy New Year and with much love,
