What Got You Here, Will Not Get You There / Online Marketing

The following cliché’ has certainly caught up with our current time, culture, and economy: “If you keep on doing what you have always done, you will keep on getting what you have always gotten!"

Great food for thought, as the good old days when we knew how all the pieces of the puzzle fit together are gone. The new landscape is being formed from the changes being instituted by all of us during the economic mess we are all living through. The Rules of Engagement have changed! Use these online business ideas to help you move forward.
The economy, which is directly affecting all of us, has brought most of us to our knees. Our “recession” proof industry is feeling the pain, just like other industries that are affected by what is happening here in the United States and around the world.

That cliché’ is more relevant now, as we cannot continue doing the same things we have always done with the expectation of creating new results. Things always happen for a reason, and we should learn from our mistakes. That is why Now is the time to start changing what is happening in our own world.

Change has to happen internally before it happens on the outside. Our thoughts become things in our everyday world. Negative thoughts create and bring about more negativity. The good news is that we can start the process all over again by aggressively taking the negative and changing it to a positive. This process comes about when we become aware of what we are physically saying, and more importantly what we are thinking while awake and conscious.
It takes conscious mental work to create this awareness and more work to aggressively change negative thoughts into positive ones, but that is the only way we can start the process towards creating positive impact in our daily lives. It is a balancing act between our internal awareness process and the equal and important responsibility to change whatever needs changing.

But it doesn’t end there. We need to take another important step and start listening to what others around us are saying. When we hear negative statements, we need to mentally shift the vibe and go positive. It is important to let the other party know your positive take on their negative comment. This changes their internal perception and will start the ball rolling in the opposite direction.
The present moment is one where we as individuals have lost mental confidence in the system we live in. The truth is that most people still have jobs, companies are still in place and money is available, although based on media reporting, we are going down in flames. We need to observe what is happening around us in order to gain a true understanding of the current circumstances.

Consumer confidence will come back when we quit listening to all the negative talk and manage our days by forcing positive thoughts, in turn causing positive feelings. In short, it is up to us to change the outcome by the way we think and act. If we don’t create this change, the results will always be the same. However, we always have the power to create positive change with our choices.

Today’s world dynamics are dramatically affecting each and every one of us. We have to step out of the old paradigm or box and start looking for new alternatives. My title for this article - What got you here, will not get you there, is indicative of the way we have to think today. Just because one was successful in the past, does not guarantee them the same in the future.

I live my life one day at a time, understanding that the only control I have of my life is what I can do today. Take care of today and tomorrow will take care of itself. Keep in mind that we always live in TODAY. Think about waking up tomorrow. What day will it be? Today of course. Not taking a thing away from planning etc., but all the planning in the world will do you no good if you haven’t properly taken care of the most important day in your life - Today.
