Fertility refers to the ability of conceiving a child and a woman’s ability to conceive a biological child is known as female fertility. If you have been trying to get pregnant with frequent or unprotected sexual intercourse for at least one year or at least six months if you are older than 35 years, then might be you and your partner question your infertility and seek significant solution of this.

Although there are several reasons of female infertility that one cannot control itself but maintaining a healthy lifestyle is what anyone can do if they really want to have healthy pregnancy. In this section, I’m going to share some simple efforts that any mom- to- be or female can do for healthy child and pregnancy. These efforts can help in creating a healthy environment for a healthy egg and sperm with the aim affording the best foundation for a healthy child.

Take a close look on healthy lifestyle choices:

• Primarily and importantly eat healthy diet. Although there is not any suggested diet that helps promote fertility or can increase the chances of conception, but still good nutrition diet with daily prenatal vitamin that contains folic acid helps in conception and also considered as an important part of pre conception diet and also serves you and your baby well during whole pregnancy.

• With eating healthy diet, it is important to maintain a healthy weight too. Being overweight and underweight can inhibit normal ovulation, so for the frequent ovulation which is likely hood of pregnancy, maintaining a healthy diet is necessary.

• Schedule a regular visit to your doctor and health care provider. He can help you detect any health condition (if any) and also help in treating them that might threaten your fertility.

• Control and manage your stress because according to some research stress can lower the odds of conception, but still more research is needed to show its impact on female fertility. In the mean while it’s wise to minimize the stress and practicing healthy coping method such as you can use relaxation techniques and join yoga or other health programs that helps in minimizing the stress.

• Avoid alcohol, smoking, other tobacco consumption and exposure to various toxins.

Keep remember that the health of male as well as female will not only influence their only children but also the gene of their grandchildren and upcoming generation too.
