We see the same sun although we are a great distance apart. We look at the same moon and the same stars, even though an ocean divides us. I awake in the morning and think about all the possibilities this new day will bring.

I, like you, go to work for more hours than I would choose. I stay in my garden until sun the can no longer be seen. I look forward to getting my pay but it doesn’t go very far. I feel sad when I hear of bad things that happen to people. I cry when someone I know passes away. I hurt when a relationship does not work out. My only fear is to learn that I wasted my time and energy; only until the lessons that are supposed to be learned from that relationship are revealed in me. Yes, you are like me.

A bright sunny day, or a rainy day, we go about our day striving to do better and to learn more. Our play time is when and what we make of it, but we utilize every spare moment. We teach our children values and strive for knowledge of the great wonders of the world. Our decisions are clear and concise, only through lessons past.

You are like me and I’m like you, maybe not on every point, but close enough. Our eyes might see different things, our head might agree on different things, but blood of our forefathers flow through our veins. Our souls see the world as one.
