Making the Debt-to-Riches Shift Using EFT

Perhaps the greatest challenge in using the Law of Attraction is the time lag between imagining (vibrating) living our dreams and actually seeing them manifest. Say we dream of the good life but we find ourselves in debt. We know we have to change our vibration and put our attention on that which we want, but bills keep piling up. Collection agencies and credit card companies call wanting you to promise your paycheck to them. Okay, maybe you’re not that stuck.
At whatever level, you try to change your vibration, see that nothing has changed, and give up.
The reason you are not climbing out of the debt hole is that you are unable to tell the difference between who you are now and what you have created in the past.
Everyone has what I call a creation cycle. This is the amount of time between when you create something and when it manifests. The length of time varies from person to person based upon many factors, including clarity of intention, focus, and ability to receive. But for purposes of example, let’s say that Tom’s creation cycle is one week.
Last week Tom was feeling powerless. It was Saturday, and all the credit card companies knew he’d be home trying to relax. He tried to ignore the calls, but it became depressing and overwhelming.
On Monday, Tom decided to really give the Law of Attraction a shot, so he did his meditations and visualized what it would be like to write checks to his creditors and have enough money to take his wife to dinner and a movie. He was persistent and did this on Tuesday and Wednesday, and things started looking brighter. On Thursday, he was grateful for this good feeling so he added a period of gratitude just before he went to sleep. He repeated these techniques on Friday.
Then Saturday rolled around, and the credit calls were just as bad as last week, if not worse.
This is the critical time. What Tom created a week before has manifested with a vengeance even though he has been doing every thing right for the past 5 days. Tom’s cycle of creation of abundance has not yet had time to manifest.
The trick is to recognize that what you are experiencing today is what you created last week, and who you are now is the person who is creating abundance that is sure to come.
The pitfall is to see bills, become depressed, and recreate the debt cycle.
We can use a variation of the EFT Choices Technique developed by Pat Carrington to help us over the hump.
Rub on the sore spot or tap on the karate chop point and repeat 3 times:
Even though I used to confuse what I have created with who I am,
I now choose to maintain my focus and intent on that which I want to become.
Now tap three rounds. On the first round, tap using the reminder phrase:
I used to confuse what I have created with who I am
Tap the second round, tap using the reminder phrase:
I now choose to maintain my focus and intent on that which I want to become
And tap the third round alternating the two. For example, tap on the eyebrow while repeating:
I used to confuse what I have created with who I am
Then tap on the side of the eye repeating:
I now choose to maintain my focus and intent on that which I want to become
And so on. Make sure you end with the new positive phrase.
Repeat this exercise at least three times a day for three weeks to establish a new pattern of manifestation.
