Journey To The Emerald Heart

“Every heart sings a song, incomplete, until another heart whispers back.
Those who wish to sing always find a song.” – Plato
I felt inspired to title this article to reflect my desire and vision in the creation of a New Earth. For those of you who have read my novel Phoenix Star or heard of the lost legends of the Emerald Tablet you will recognize a glimpse of its True meaning. The storyline of Phoenix Star is symbolic of our Journey to the Emerald Heart, the core essence of our true self – our song, our dance, our gift.
Exploring our song aligns us with our Spirit. It helps us to heal our wounds and prompts us to face our deepest fears. When we are being true to our selves and living our song we are able to release the need to judge or criticize others and experience lasting joy and happiness.
For years I thought my song was writing but just recently I realized that it is really just one form of it. Thanks to a dear friend what I discovered is that my core essence is really LOVE. Through writing I’ve been able to experience many moments of happiness because I am expressing my love for humanity through insightful messages but like many countless people without being fully present to my true nature these moments have been transient. One area of my life in particular seemed to confuse me, regardless of how much work I did on myself, but when I was able to make the subtle distinction about my core essence, a shift occurred.
Realizing that I need to own and express my core essence wherever I go and regardless of what others may think has freed me – this was quite an ‘ah ha’ moment.
In fact, I always considered myself an extreme introvert but suddenly this new freedom fills me with joy and now I really LOVE going out and being in crowds. In the past, this is something that would cause me great discomfort and drain my energy. Now, I see the beauty around me and delight in talking with people and exploring their hopes and dreams. Why? Because I realize holding myself back out of fear only results in pain, illness, and unhappiness so I share my love for humanity and our planet freely and it feels spectacular. What I have learned here is that perhaps my energy was being drained in the past, not from the people around me but from the effort it took to protect my song. So, am I really an introvert? I can’t say for certain just yet but I do find myself feeling energized more often by going out into the world and BEING love.
Painful experiences of being judged and ridiculed or fear of being rejected often shut us down – we learn that we must keep our song secret in order to protect it but the only thing this serves to do is keep us from achieving higher states of consciousness and living in bliss. We are here to discover the Kingdom of Heaven Within – our Emerald Heart - and joyfully share it with the world. The only thing stopping us from living this Truth is ourselves and believing we must guard the core essence of our being.
What is your song? What quality best describes you at the core of your being? Who are you?
When you discover what this is, own it. Embrace who you are. Let go of worrying about whether people will accept you and BE YOURSELF. Make a plan to spend one hour every day dedicated to living your passion. If it’s too difficult to carve out that time try a half-hour. Spend this time in joy and gratitude and watch your life transform into a beautiful melody.
I hope the ancient wisdom and insights I share with you on this journey, touch the deepest parts of your being and help you discover your core essence and share it freely with the world.
