Inspiration
Your Perfect Design
By Dr Richard Cawte

In the acorn resides the whole plan of the oak tree: the roots that will reach in time deep into the soil: the trunk that will grow thick and strong to support its branches: the leaves that will open out and flourish: and the acorns that will grow in years to come.

In the egg resides the whole plan of the bird: the tail that will angle this way and that to steer the bird in flight: the wings that will spread wide to act as efficient flying tools: the feathers that will act as perfect insulation for the fragile frame beneath them: and the beak from which will burst a unique song.

There is a divine design in all things. It is in the spore that becomes a fern. It is in a cell that divides to become a fish, or a hippopotamus or a humming bird. It is in the fall of water that becomes a stream that leads to a river and opens eventually onto the sea. It works day in day out, in the world all around you.

So it is for you.

You have developed to where you are now, because your cells divided and divided again to grow into the body in which you now sit. They followed the perfect plan of your construction without hesitation, without thought. They just got on with it.

The eyes you are using to read these words were a part of the Divine Design with which you were born. The fingers you used to click on the mouse that led you to this page were part of the perfect plan of your conception. Each of your cells is perfectly adapted to following the particular instruction laid out in your divine design. They are all unique and yet they form part of a whole in which your DNA is the unifying factor.

So it is for your life.

There is a Divine Design for us all, a series of pathways as intricate as the arteries and veins that are such an amazing network of life within your body. Do you stop every day to think about how all those veins and arteries work? Do you wonder why they weave in one direction and then another, or do you just accept that they do their job without questioning them? Do you just let them get on with it?

My guess is that you don’t think about it too hard. Just as you don’t think too hard about whether or not you should take the next breath. You just get on with it. Just as you don’t think about the fact that there is a ten tonne weight pushing down on your head right now – the pressure of the air above you – because your body is designed to push back against that pressure without you even knowing it is there…

Following the Divine Design of your life works in the same way. You don’t have to think about pushing back against the pressure that is on you: your body takes care of it. You don’t have to think about which way the paths of your life are going to twist and turn, you just know they are there and you keep walking.

How do you know when something is a part of your Divine Design? Because it feels right when you do it. Deep down inside, it feels right. You do it without questioning, without thinking too hard. It comes naturally to you. And it rewards you in all the ways that are significant and nourishing.

When you are doing the things that make up the divine design of your life it does not feel like “work”. It feels more like play instead! It’s totally absorbing, it’s fun, and you find that you can spend hours doing it without ever thinking, “I wish I was doing something else.”

The Divine Design of your life is for you to be light-hearted, clear-headed and engaged in each moment. Try it!

“Everyone who is seriously involved in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that a spirit is manifest in the laws of the universe – a spirit vastly superior
to that of man.” Albert Einstein. 1936.

About Richard Cawte

Richard is a BA Hons (English) and has a PhD in International Business. He has written papers on such diverse subjects as the effects of television on society, how to be a good parent and how to apply the principles of quantum physics to transform your life.

Richard’s main work involves a mentoring service through which he helps guide his clients to act on their instincts and intuition, creating a working plan for building their lives around the things that inspire them most.

“When we follow our intuition, we never go wrong, but for many people, acting on their intuition has become increasingly difficult: they have forgotten how to do it.

“We are born fearless and free. As small children we question everything that life throws at us and we welcome all the answers we receive easily and with joy. Then we are sent to school where we learn to distrust our instincts and rely instead on logic and rational thought.

“I help my clients to unlearn the fears and suspicions that are educated into us, to see the beauty that resides in themselves and in us all. Then we embark on the truly wonderful experience of doing that which inspires and enthuses us.”

Described as “inspirational”, “un-missable” and “life-changing”, Richard has presented to seminars in Bali, The Bahamas, Bermuda, Mexico, Panama, USA, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Borneo, New Zealand, Fiji, Egypt and many other countries.

When he is not addressing audiences around the world, Richard can be found planting trees in his Irish garden, fly-fishing for local trout, or simply sitting outside listening to the birds singing.
