Move The Energy

Move the Energy
We’re all familiar with those “hot and hazy” days of summer. You know, the days when the air feels as if you could cut it with a knife- it feels stagnant and suffocating, as though there’s less oxygen available, making it hard to breathe. On these stiffeling days we turn on fans and air conditioners or hang out in places where the air is moving, trying to “catch a breeze” anyway we can, whether it’s natural or man-made.
Sometimes our lives get that same stale, stagnant feeling. Our energy is low; we’re out of breath, out of ideas, out of creativity. When life seems to stand still, its time to turn on your “internal fan,” re-condition the air around you and do something to move the energy.
Begin with a deep breath. Conscious breathing begins to get the energy moving and flowing. Breathe new life into your day and move the energy in a different direction by doing something different or out “out of the norm.” Take a different route to work, park your vehicle in a different location, or eat lunch with someone different. Go to the library, check out an interesting coffee table book and enjoy the beauty of the photographs.
Feel how refreshed you become when you move the energy from within. All it takes is one simple breath!
