Summary:
Everyone likes to take it easy and relax after a stressful day. By making relaxation a part of your life, You’ll soon notice a change in your life, and others will too! There are many items, products, and additions you can add to the environment around you to enhance the experience and make sure you are totally relaxed. Here are our 7 relaxation tips for healthy living:

Tip 1 - Reduce your noise level - Block out or cover up annoying noises with soothing ones. White noise, running water from a fountain, relaxing music. Choose something pleasing to your ears.

Tip 2 - Pamper your nose - Scents have a very powerful effect on us, from bringing back memories to clearing your stuffy nose.

Tip 3 - Put your feet up - Find a comfortable chair, bean bag, or hammock to sit or lie in. One that cushions you or conforms to your body is a great way to relax. Whatever you choose, it should be comfortable and a place you want to spend time in.

Tip 4 - Personalize your workspace - Spruce up the place you spend so much time with aromatic candles, a seat cushion for maximized comfort and a desk fountain. Your mindset will become more positive and your day will be more productive.

Tip 5 - Share with others - Spending time with loved ones is a great way to de-stress and unwind from a busy schedule. Take a walk, catch a movie, or just hang out at home or in the garden! If you have a water fountain at home, invite others to come join you by it.

Tip 6 – Take a Spa Day at Home - With the combination of relaxing candles, aromatherapy, thermal neck wraps and soothing music, you can create your own spa day. Block off a day in your calendar, and make a list of items that help you relax.

Tip 7 - Commune with the Animals - The benefits of having a pet are well known, and they provide us with unconditional affection. Help them to relax too with quality pet beds and maybe even their own water fountain to drink out of (pets love running water!).

For more relaxation tips, check out the blog of Serenity Health, our Official Guides to Relaxation. You can find all of the relaxation products you need in their store as well.

Finally, we have our question for the day. Which of these seven tips was your favorite? And is there an eighth one we left out? Let us know in the comments below.

Your videos are getting better each time I visit. Thank you, David. I love tip number one [reduce noise] because its impact is almost immediate. Several mornings each week I get up at 5 a.m. and the silence at that time of day is bliss. It always feels like a mini-holiday. An eighth tip could be to get out amongst plant life and earth for a while. Connecting with the greenery and digging around in the soil near my plants, then sitting back to admire the nurtured plants, is always a soother for me. Cheers, Thea

Awesome video, my stress reliever is daydreaming about the future. Takes my mind off situations that's stressing me out and causes me to come back more determined to make those daydreams a reality.

I think the tips are great too. I will have to have some quiet time at a lake or walking on a trail that takes me away from the cities and roads. I get quiet time at home when I'm there alone. Thank you for sharing.

Totally awesome tips! My favorite one was to have a spa day! But I think for this realistically to happen, it must have a "just say no" day to any requests that would infringe on your spa day! :)

Tip # 5 has worked very well for me. A close friend or family member can provide you with the outlet you need. Sometimes, being able to rant out your frustrations can help you relax by reducing your stress and see things from a different perspective. - Michael Lee, http://www.expertpersuader.com

I really enjoyed the scented candle tips, I've noticed every time I go to a store that has them, I leave a little bi more relaxed, I also think that insence sticks are quite useful and cheaper and safer than candles. I also think reading the right stuff can make you relaxed, I mean, reading self help books can really help even thought lots of people think it's corny or reading anything that relaxes you, jokes, magazines etc...

Love your tips! Noise, and smell affects those of us that are more sensitive. Another tip is to put a nubby roller to stimulate the pressure points on the feet. Look forward to you next tips. Annie http://www.retreatandheal.com
