Ladies, join Shanti during this unprecedented time of awakening celebrating the Gaelic festival of Beltane. Heralding Spring, this festival marks the midpoint of the Sun’s progress between the spring equinox and summer solstice. Meaning bright sacred fire – Beltane honors the fertility of the earth and animals by lighting a special fire designed to purify and bring good fortune to all. With winter behind us it’s time to light our inner spiritual fire – purifying and transforming our inner darkness to light, and to plant the seeds of a new dream of deeper personal wisdom, understanding, patience, abundance, health, love, and peace. Together we’ll celebrate the divine Spring Goddess within and her powerful potential for growth and change.

The Goddess House, our amazing private home and retreat center, is a nourishing and intimate place to treat yourself to a much needed rest and rejuvenation. Healthy food, morning stretches, walking to powerful vortexes, sacred ceremonies, and self-nurturing will be our focus. Everything about this home – the land, architecture, furnishings, and impeccable Fung Shui – will nurture our journey together. Our days will be filled with opportunities for deep physical, emotional, mental and spiritual healing.

Celebration & Ceremony
Our time together will include: sharing in circle, walking the land, exploring sacred sites, stretching our bodies and minds through activities such as movement class and guided visualizations. You’ll participate in pipe, fire and Beltane celebration ceremonies. Each person will receive a bodywork treatment from Joumana, voted the best massage therapist in Sedona – and have their astrology chart interpreted by Rosine Fievet, who’s been charting and assisting folks in discovering their soul’s purpose for over 3 decades!

Transformation & Healing
The intent of our retreat is to purify, release and dissolve old repressed emotions, played-out dramas, old story-lines and agendas, self-sabotaging and limiting habitual life patterns, and to identify the seeds we are currently fertilizing in our lives. Then with deep awareness born of self-love we can choose to plant new seeds of true joy, forgiveness, compassion, health and integrity. By recreating and re-birthing ourselves, we can step into the next chapter of our lives, for our personal and planetary awakening. Itinerary for the Sedona Goddess Healing Retreat
Day 1 April 28th (-/-/d)
Meet the group at The Goddess House at 4:00 pm for a group get-together, opening ceremony and restful night. If you are flying into Phoenix you can carpool to Sedona with some of the other participants or take the shuttle! Once settled in we’ll have an opening ceremony which may include calling in the spirits of the directions, conch shell blowing and the sharing of intentions. We spend the next four days exploring and moving through the sacred Sedona land. We’ll work with ritual, ceremony, meditation and discussion. There’s no definite schedule for these days because in Sedona we work with the energy present in the moment!

Day 2 April 29th (b/l/d)
We’ll meet for gentle warm-up exercises and stretches before a delicious breakfast. Then with the intent to let go of the darkness of winter and plant our personal seeds for the spring we’ll go to the sacred site of Devil’s Bridge and have a special ceremony. It’s a beautiful location to have a picnic! In the afternoon you can choose to have body work, your astrology reading or free time to journal, walk the land or sit in the jacuzzi. After dinner we will share our intentions with each other and bring in support from the spirits with a pipe ceremony.

Day 3 April 30th (b/-/d)
Before breakfast we’ll meet in group for gentle stretches to awaken the body. We’ll stop in town and pick up lunch for our walk to the Birthing Cave where we create our Spring Birthing time together. The birthing cave is a very sacred heart shaped cave that contains its own womb. Picking Medicine Woman cards together will open the space to share and connect.

After lunch we’ll make two local visits. The first is the Kachina House which showcases hand crafted items from the many Native American tribes in the Southwest. Then we will visit the Crystal Magic store which contains books, stones, clothing, cards, and other fun items. After our shopping excursion we return to the Goddess House for free time and rest. In the evening we’ll create a group process using guided imagery and sharing for healing and heart-opening.

Day 4 May 1st (b/l/-)
May Day!!! We’ll have our delicious breakfast at the Goddess House and then have a special process together at the Kiva and river on the property. This will include a fire ceremony to celebrate our light and inner divine flame. After lunch you can choose body work, your astrology reading or free time. Shanti will be available as well during this time. Tonight will be the perfect evening for a May celebration dinner in Sedona.

Day 5 May 2nd (b/l/d)
We’ll spend the final day together celebrating each other. After stretching and breakfast we’ll head out to a sacred site. Each person will be witnessed in their wholeness with the seeds that they have planted during our time together. We will have the opportunity to sit in circle with each other as well.

In the afternoon you can either have your astrology session, bodywork or private time with Shanti. We’ll gather again for dinner and then meet to design a support system for you to employ back home. We will then have a beautiful closing ceremony!

Day 6 May 3rd (b/-/-)
We leave Sedona today renewed and with a change of heart. New friends have been made and old friendships made stronger. We look forward to the challenge of bringing this new dream home with us!

Important Information for the Sedona Goddess Healing Retreat:
Our Sedona retreat will be taking place at The Goddess House – a collection of indoor and outdoor spaces created with a complimentary merging of Indonesian, Japanese, Moroccan and East Indian cultures. Its warm, inviting rooms are interspersed with comforting courtyards, peaceful meditation gardens, hanging lounges, tranquil pools and restful waterfalls. The Goddess House offers a full sensory environment enhanced by inspirational natural and handmade architectural essentials: egg-shaped door knobs, pebble stone walls, hammered tin lights from Asia, custom furniture, mosaic tulip fountains, hand carved doors & banisters. The home has 6 bedrooms and 3.5 baths.

The Goddess House also incorporates the principles of Feng Shui to create a environment that is energetically aligned promoting harmony, serenity, creativity and vitality. An impressive cleansing crystal is strategically placed in the center of the house to ensure a healthy environment and numerous Feng Shui essentials are found throughout this residential landmark. There are two ponds; one with large goldfish and the other native frogs and a real mud kiva on your short walk down to beautiful oak creek (200 steps).

Regarding flights: Please fly into Phoenix early enough to be able to arrive at the Center by 4:00pm the latest that way we can have our opening ceremony by 5:00pm. If everyone ends up coming in later due to flight schedules we will simply start our ceremony later! Figure that it will take you approximately 2.5 hours to drive from Phoenix to the center. (The van companies are: Sedona Shuttle, Ace Express and Extra Mile.) Going home leave enough time for that drive plus 2 hours lead time at the airport. You can share rides if you get your flight info to us – we can see who is arriving and when and match you up if you like.

Feel free to make your own flights, but please confirm them with us before booking.

If you need or want to fly in the day before the retreat begins we have reserved space at the house for the night of April 27th. The cost would be: $100.00 USD.

Sedona Goddess Healing Trip Costs:
The 2011 trip cost is: $1769.00 USD per person double occupancy. If you want a single room the trip cost would be $2289.00 USD.

Our retreat home also has a little cottage on the property with two twin beds (but no bathroom, you would have to walk to the house) and the cost for the retreat utilizing that space would be $1249.00 USD double occupancy.

A deposit of $500.00 USD with your trip registration forms is preferred by: January 1st, 2011. Final payment is due: February 1st, 2011. Any cancellation made in writing between: January 1st, 2011 and February 1st, 2011 will result in a cancellation fee of $500.00 USD. Any cancellation made between: February 1st, 2011 and the trip departure will result in a total loss of your $500.00 USD deposit along with any non-refundable funds made to our suppliers in Sedona. Any cancellation made: after the trip departs will result in total loss of trip funds. We reserve the right to cancel the trip if it is not meeting the trip minimum. Trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended to cover such issues.

The actual schedule of spiritual teachings and what we will be doing day to day is not published. This is because we teach by channeling spirit which comes in the moment. Every day will be a magical experience for all of us, teachers included! Keep your heart and mind open to the experience life brings us. Due the remote areas we are traveling to, weather, bad roads and other unseen obstacles may cause us to make changes in the schedule or to visit different sites. We understand that if this happens we were not meant to be where we were going!
