Procedures for managing potential trigger events such as employee terminations and/or disciplinary actions, irate clients, persons seeking medications etc. Implementing a workplace violence management team to assess potential or actual threatening and violent situations and respond as needed. Crafting physical and procedural security initiatives to address your true and present risks and vulnerabilities. Worst case protective response measures like safe rooms/shelters, quick lockdown capabilities, mass communications tools, access and egress control, panic/duress buttons, video surveillance, and visitor management. Preparing an after incident to provide support and counseling to your people, communicate with internal and external audiences, to document, to conduct root cause analyses and recommend preventative measures.
